I’m a keen iPhoneographer. That’s somebody that believes the best camera is the one you have with you which is your iPhone. The cover art for all of my music releases was taken on an iPhone 5 with Hipstamatic which is an incredible app. It really bestows an atmosphere on images.
The location for these shots was the Royal Hospital Kilmainham which hosts the Irish museum of Modern Art. It’s a 17th century wonder and since I’m quite partial to the sounds and look of that time in Europe I thought it’s Les Invalides-inspired surrounds would match the music.
I also grew up over the wall so this place was a big part of my childhood and teens.
